Races and results

Add your goal race, see the countdown, save your finish time, and track your records.

Add the race you're training for and Athelista counts down to it, then compares your result with your goal.

Add your goal race

  1. Open Progress › Stats.
  2. On the race card, tap Add race (or Add next race after a result).
  3. Enter the Race name, Date (from today on) and Distance: 5K, 10K, Half, Full or Other.
  4. Optional: a Goal time · optional, like 3:59:00 or 52:00.
  5. Tap Save race.

To change it, tap Edit on the race card. Remove takes it off. You have one goal race at a time.

Your coach can also set your race, for you or for your whole batch. You can change your own goal time.

The countdown

The race card shows weeks or days to go and your goal. In race week it says "Race week". The countdown also shows on Today under the greeting.

After the race

On race day and after, the card asks How did it go?

  1. Enter your Finish time in hours, minutes and seconds.
  2. Tap Save time.

The card then shows your result and how far under or over your goal you were. Didn't run? Tap I didn't run it and the race is cleared.

Records

The Records card lists your fastest 1K, 5K, 10K, half and full. They're found inside any run, so a fast 5K in the middle of a long run counts. Tap a record to open that run.

When you beat a record, it's marked New PR with how much faster you were. A trophy badge also shows on the run in Today's Recent list. Your very first effort at a distance isn't a PR, as there's nothing to beat yet.

Good to know

  • Records need runs with GPS or distance data.
  • Best times you type in your profile (Account › Profile & emergency) are shared with your coach but aren't used for Records.
