The Athletes view in Plans works like your Excel sheet. Each row is an athlete, each column a day of the week. Type a plan into a cell and the app reads it into steps.
Open it
In Plans › Calendar, pick the batch and tap Athletes next to Week and Month.
The top line shows how many athletes and plans the batch has this week. Each athlete's pace group, if they have one, shows next to their name.
Plan one cell
- Click a cell.
- Type the plan the way you would in Excel, for example "2k wu 1mins fast 4:15-25 1mins jog ×15 2k cd".
- Check Reads as. Anything the app couldn't read stays as your note.
- Tap Add as draft.
New plans are drafts. Publish them with Publish week in Week view.
Change or remove a plan
Click the cell. For each workout you can:
- Change: type the new plan and tap Save change.
- Remove for {name}: take it off just this athlete.
- Remove for all …: take it off everyone on that plan (shown when several athletes share it).
- + Add another workout this day: add a second workout.
If several athletes share the plan, choose Just {name} or All … on this plan before saving. Just one athlete gets their own copy; the rest keep the original.
Workouts already done can't be changed or removed.
One plan for many cells
- Shift-click or ⌘-click (Ctrl-click on Windows) to select several cells. They can be different athletes and different days.
- Type one plan in the bar that appears, for example "12k easy 10×100m uphill strides".
- Tap Apply.
Those athletes lose what they had planned on those days and get this plan as a draft. Tap Clear to cancel the selection.
Reading the grid
- Green: done. Red: missed, with the reason if the athlete gave one.
- Draft: not published yet.
- ×4 means the same plan goes to 4 athletes.
- Cells update as watches sync.
Good to know
- A plan for several athletes is saved once, so the Week calendar stays tidy.
