Plans is one calendar for all your batches. You add workouts as drafts, check them, then publish so athletes see them.
Find your way around
- Pick the batch from the list at the top left.
- Use the arrows to go to the previous or next week. Tap the dates in the middle to come back to today.
- Switch between Week, Month and Athletes. Week shows seven days side by side. Month shows the whole month; tap a day to open its week. Athletes is a spreadsheet with one row per athlete (see Plan athlete by athlete).
- The tabs along the top are Calendar, Templates, Exercise library and Cycling & swim · preview.
A small dot next to a date means the batch trains that day. A red dot means that session is cancelled.
Add a workout
- Tap New workout at the top, the + on a day, or Rest · add workout on an empty day. You can also use New › Workout from the top bar.
- Choose Running or Gym.
- Write the steps. See Build a running workout and Build a gym workout.
- Under Assign to, choose Whole batch or Pick athletes.
- Add Coach notes if you like. Athletes see them with the workout.
- Tap Save draft to keep it hidden, or Publish to send it now.
Drafts and publishing
Drafts have a dashed border and a DRAFT label. Athletes can't see them.
When the week has drafts, a Publish week button shows how many. Tap it to publish every draft in that week for this batch. Athletes get a notification and an email saying new workouts are in their plan. Runs also go to the watches of athletes who send planned runs to their watch.
Change a workout
Tap a workout to open it.
- Save (on a published workout) updates it. Athletes with that workout today or later get a "workout changed" notification.
- Move to drafts hides a published workout again. Athletes who haven't done it lose it from their plan.
- Delete removes it. Athletes who already did it keep their record. You can undo straight after.
- Copy to with Copy as draft puts a draft copy on any date.
Move and copy
- Drag a workout to another day to move it. You can undo from the message that appears.
- Hold Alt (Option on a Mac) while you drag to make a draft copy instead.
- Or tap the copy icon on a workout, then Paste here on one or more days. Tap Done when finished.
On a phone, dragging is off. Open the workout and change its Date, or use the copy icon.
Good to know
- A workout some athletes already did can't be moved. Copy it instead.
- An amber box like "2 athletes have no workout" means some athletes in the batch have nothing that day. Tap it to add one.
- Athletes who join the batch later get its published workouts from the day they join.
